Power House Masters Rugby
Masters Rugby is for players aged 35 and over. It provides enjoyment for players of all abilities and focuses on participation rather than winning. It provides an opportunity for more mature players to continue to enjoy the on and off the pitch elements of the sport at a more relaxed pace. Rugby has created an exceptional ‘family’ and this is inherent within Masters Rugby. The central theme for Power House Master Rugby is ‘fun, friendship and fraternity.’
Power House Wheelchair Rugby
We are proud to support the Power House Wheelchair Rugby Team. They are the top team in the league and are truly inspiring. One of our star players is Josh Hose, who was a member of the Australian Paralympic Team that won the gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Josh also won gold at the 2012 London Olympic Games. Josh is a motivational speaker and he was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for his service to sport.
This year, our team won the inaugural Protect Victoria Wheelchair Rugby Cup final. Three Power House wheelchair rugby players were also selected in the Australian wheelchair team for the 2018 Wheelchair Rugby World Championships in Sydney.
